Electrician Pro X

Last Updated: October 17, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Electrician Pro X ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use Electrician Pro X, including our mobile application and our web application at app.electricianprox.com (together, the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

If you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID credentials and any information you authorize Apple to share (such as your name and email address). Apple may provide us with a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email.

Job and Business Data

When you use the App to manage your electrical business, you may enter:

This information is stored to provide you with the App's job management, invoicing, and estimating features.

Google Calendar Data

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar account, we access your Google Calendar solely to create, update, and delete calendar events on your behalf. Specifically, we:

We do not read, store, or share any existing events from your Google Calendar. We only write events that originate from Electrician Pro X. Your Google Calendar access token is stored securely in your account and is never shared with third parties. You can revoke this access at any time from within the App or directly through your Google Account settings.

Our use of Google Calendar data is limited to the purposes described above and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

QuickBooks Online Data

If you choose to connect your QuickBooks Online account, we share your business data with Intuit solely to provide accounting sync features on your behalf. Specifically, when you sync an invoice, we:

Syncing occurs only when you initiate it. Nothing is sent to QuickBooks automatically. We read from your QuickBooks account only as necessary to perform the sync (for example, to match existing customers or retrieve an invoice we previously created). We do not read, modify, or share unrelated data from your QuickBooks account. Data synced to QuickBooks remains in your QuickBooks account and is subject to Intuit's Privacy Statement.

Your QuickBooks access tokens are stored securely and are never shared with third parties. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from within the App or from your QuickBooks account's connected apps settings. Disconnecting stops all future syncing but does not delete data already synced to your QuickBooks account.

Payment Data

If you enable invoice payments, you open a Stripe account that belongs to you (a "Connected Account") through Stripe's onboarding. The identity, business, and bank details you provide during onboarding are collected by Stripe, not by us, and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive and store only your Stripe account identifier and status information about that account (for example, whether it can accept payments and payouts).

When one of your clients pays an invoice, they enter their card or bank details on a page hosted by Stripe. We never receive card numbers, bank account numbers, or security codes. Stripe sends us a confirmation of the payment, from which we store the transaction identifiers, amount, payment method type, the last four digits of the card if applicable, the payer's name and email address as entered at checkout, and the payment status. This is used to mark your invoice as paid, generate receipts, and show payment history in the App.

For subscriptions purchased through the web application, Stripe processes the payment on our behalf through RevenueCat. The same rule applies: your card details go to Stripe, and we store only the subscription status and transaction identifiers.

Fraud Prevention and Security Data

To protect contractors, their clients, and the payment feature from abuse, we collect and use limited technical information about how the App and payment pages are accessed, including IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, request timing, and device or browser characteristics. We use this information to block access from regions where the App is not offered, to limit repeated requests to payment pages, and to detect and respond to suspected fraud. Payment pages at pay.electricianprox.com and the web application are served through Cloudflare, which processes this information as our service provider. We may retain records related to suspected fraud, including account, transaction, and access details, for as long as needed to investigate, to cooperate with Stripe or card networks, and to comply with legal obligations, even after an account is closed.

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect limited technical and usage information when you use the App, including:

Product Analytics

To understand which features contractors use so that we can improve the App, the App keeps simple usage counts with your account in our own database (Firebase). We do not use a third-party analytics service. The counts cover:

These counts never include client names, client email addresses or phone numbers, job addresses or locations, job or estimate titles, descriptions, or notes, line items, dollar amounts, photos, or invoice or estimate contents. We do not use screen recording, session replay, or automatic capture of on-screen content.

Website Help Chat

Our website (electricianprox.com) has an "Ask a question" chat that answers questions about how the App works. When you use it, the questions you type and the answers are sent to Google's Gemini AI service to produce a reply, and are stored in our database so we can see what visitors ask and improve our guides. To limit abuse, we keep a short-lived counter tied to a one-way scrambled form of your IP address; the IP address itself is not stored. The chat cannot see your account or any data in the App. Please do not type personal or sensitive information into it.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following situations:

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your account information and job data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes or where retention is necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, resolve payment disputes, or cooperate with Stripe, card networks, or law enforcement. Payment records held by Stripe are retained according to Stripe's own policies.
