Create your account
Download Electrician Pro X from the App Store or Google Play, or open the web app at app.electricianprox.com. Tap Sign Up, then enter your name, email address, and a password (twice to confirm). If your email looks mistyped, the app will ask Did you mean…? so you don't lock yourself out with a typo.

Find your way around
The app opens on Estimates. On your phone, the bar at the bottom of the screen has Estimates, Invoices, Jobs, Schedule, and More. Tap More to open everything else: Business Profile, Inbox, Clients, Crew, Price Book, Time Tracking, Field Tools, Expenses, Analytics, and Settings. On the web app, all of these are listed in the left sidebar.
The last field tools you used sit at the top of the More menu, so a quick voltage drop or box fill on site is two taps away.

Set up your business profile
Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner (or open More → Business Profile). In the Profile Information card, fill in Company Name, Name, Company Logo, Phone Number, Business Email, Business Address, and Contractor License #. Everything saves automatically as you go, and these details appear on every estimate and invoice you send.
Add your contractor's license number — it prints on every document and builds client trust instantly.

Style your documents
On the same Business Profile screen, the Document Appearance card lets you pick a Font (Sans, Serif, or Mono) and a Brand color for your estimates and invoices. Changes save automatically, and Reset puts the defaults back.

Start working
You're ready to go — create your first job, build an estimate, or send an invoice. The free plan includes 3 jobs, 3 estimates, and 3 invoices so you can try everything out. When you're ready to accept card payments online, head to the Payments guide to get set up.
