1
Create a job
Tap Jobs in the bottom bar, then tap the + button (Create Job on the web app). Fill in the Job Title, pick a Client, and add the Location and any Notes about the scope or site access. Set the Status — Scheduled, In Progress, or Completed — and tap Save Job. Got a lead? Open it from the Leads tab in your Inbox and tap Schedule job to start a job with the lead's details filled in. The client is added to your clients when you save the job.
Need to fix a client's phone number or address? Tap the pencil icon next to their name in the client picker — you can edit them without leaving the job form.
2
Schedule it on the calendar
Jobs don't have a date field — you put them on specific days from the calendar. Tap Schedule in the bottom bar (in the left sidebar on the wide web app). See the Schedule guide for details.
3
Next stop
When you have a job today, the Next stop card sits at the top of Jobs. It shows the job you're working now, or today's next one. Tap Navigate for directions, On my way to text the client that you're heading over, or Start to clock in.
4
Jobs to invoice
Completed jobs that don't have an invoice yet show under Needs attention at the top of Jobs. Tap Invoice to create an invoice filled in from the job. Tap the bell icon to snooze a row for 7 days, or tap the Needs attention heading to collapse the panel. The number on the Jobs tab counts these items.
5
Track the money
Expand the Financial section of the job form to link existing estimates and invoices under Linked Documents, add job Expenses, and log Mileage trips (one-way miles, with a round-trip option). The job preview shows the same Financial section with collected revenue, job expenses, and your profit on the job.
6
Attach photos and notes
Use the Photos section of the job form to attach before-and-after shots, panel labeling, or inspection photos (up to 30 per job). You can also add notes and photos straight from the job preview's Info tab with + Add.
Before-and-after photos protect you if a client disputes quality and make your estimates more credible on future jobs.
7
Clock in to a job
Tap a job card to open the job preview, then tap Clock In. When you're done, tap Clock Out — the session is saved to the job and shows up automatically in Time Tracking. For today's job you can also tap Start on the Next stop card.
8
To-do list
In the job preview, switch to the To-Do tab and type into Add a task... to build a checklist of job duties. Check items off as they're finished — the tab shows how many are done (for example, "3 of 5 done") so your crew can see what's left.
9
Assign crew members
Jobs are assigned to crew members from the Crew screen. Assigned crew members appear under Team Members in the job preview. See the Crew guide for setup.
