1
Open Leads
Open the More menu, tap Inbox, then tap the Leads tab at the top (on the web app, Inbox is in the left sidebar). A red badge on the Leads tab shows how many new leads you haven't opened yet.
2
Your leads list
Use the Open, Won, Lost, and All tabs at the top to filter. Open shows leads you're still working (New, Contacted, and Quoted). Leads you haven't opened yet are highlighted. Each card shows the lead's name, status, source, when it came in, and what they asked for.
3
Add a lead by hand
For phone calls and referrals, tap the + button (Add lead on the web app). Fill in Name, Phone, Email, Address, Source, and Job description, then tap Save lead. You need at least a name, phone, or email.
4
Contact a lead
Tap a lead to open it. Use Call, Text (opens a pre-written reply you can edit), or Email to reach them, or tap the address to open maps. Calling, texting, or emailing a New lead moves it to Contacted automatically.
5
Convert to Estimate
Tap Convert to Estimate to start a new estimate with the lead's name, phone, email, address, and request already filled in. When you save the estimate, the lead becomes Quoted and the button changes to View estimate. If the lead isn't one of your clients yet, they're added to your clients when you save. Backing out of the form adds nothing.
6
Schedule job
Tap Schedule job to open a new job filled in from the lead. When you save the job, the lead becomes Won and the button changes to View job. Like estimates, a new client is added when you save.
Clients that came from a lead show a tag like Lead · Google on the Clients screen.
7
Lead statuses
Every lead is New, Contacted, Quoted, Won, or Lost. Under Status in a lead, tap Mark as contacted, Mark as won, or Mark as lost. Won and lost leads can be brought back with Reopen lead. Delete lead removes it for good.
Leads don't count toward the free plan's limits.
8
Get notified about new leads
When a lead arrives from a lead source, your phone gets a push notification and a New lead item appears in your Inbox. Tap either one to open that lead on the Inbox's Leads tab.
9
Add a request form to your website
The easiest way to get website leads, with no Zapier or Make. Open Settings → Integrations → Lead Sources. At the top, under Your website request form, you get a ready-made Request a quote page with your business name, logo and brand color. Clients enter their name, phone or email, the job address, what they need done, and up to 3 photos. Each request shows up on the Leads tab of your Inbox right away, photos included, with a notification on your phone. Tap Copy link to use it on a "Get a quote" button, your Google Business Profile, Facebook or a QR code, or Copy embed code and paste it into your website's "Embed HTML" block (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress and GoDaddy all have one). Tap Preview to see it.
The form has built-in spam protection. If spam still gets through, tap Getting spam? Get a new form link; the old link and embed code stop working, so update your website with the new ones.
10
Connect a lead source
Open Settings, go to Integrations, and tap Lead Sources. You can also tap Connect a lead source on an empty Leads screen, or the plug button at the top of the Leads screen. For Thumbtack, Angi, Facebook and other services that send their own leads, use Your Lead URL below the website form. Tap Copy URL to copy it.
Keep your Lead URL private. Anyone who has it can send you leads. If it gets out, tap Get a new URL at the bottom; the old one stops working right away.

How to connect
The Inbound Lead Integrations screen walks you through three steps: 1. Where do your leads come from? Marketplaces like Angi, Thumbtack and Facebook connect through Make or Zapier (Make's free plan works; with Zapier, the webhook step needs a paid plan). In Zapier, make a Zap that starts with your lead app and ends with Webhooks by Zapier → POST to your Lead URL; in Make, end the scenario with HTTP → Make a request. 2. Copy your personal Lead URL and paste it where the tool or form asks for a webhook URL. 3. Send a test from your tool: in Zapier, click Test step on the webhook step; in Make, click Run once; for a website form, submit the form yourself. The screen changes from Waiting for your first lead to Lead received with the lead's name and source as soon as it arrives, and your phone gets the alert. Tap View to open it. Tap Setup help for specific apps for step-by-step help.

Google Ads lead forms
Google Ads lead forms don't need Zapier or Make. Open your lead form in Google Ads, choose webhook delivery, and paste your Lead URL. If Google asks for a key, type anything.
13
Thumbtack
Thumbtack doesn't offer most Pros a self-serve way to send leads to other apps, so it goes through Zapier. In Zapier, start a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook (a paid Zapier plan) and copy the URL it gives you. Ask Thumbtack Pro support to send your new leads to that Zapier URL. Then add a Webhooks by Zapier → POST step that sends the customer's details to your Lead URL.

Google Local Services Ads
Local Services Ads can't send leads directly. Connect them through a third-party app like LSArespond, then use Zapier to send them to your Lead URL.
